Prologue

Selfishe: Toss-out!

Cure Ace: Make up! Love Kiss Rouge!
I'll make your heart race!
Ace Shot!
Bang!

Ira: Ugh, the same pattern as usual.

Mammo: Don't forget about us!

Ira: Huh? Huh? What's going on?

Mammo: No way, I'm filling up with Malergy.

Ira: I'm brimming with power!

Mammo: Me too! Here!

Cure Heart: How'd they do that?

Cure Ace: Their Malergy levels just suddenly spiked, causing their power to increase.

Cure Sword: Why all of a sudden?

Cure Diamond: Don't tell me it's due to Ai-chan's crying!?

Ira: With this we can win!

Mammo: Prepare yourselves, Precure!

Ira: Ah! Cut it out, Bel!

Mammo: I can't deal with this now!

Cure Heart: Seems like we caught a break.

Cure Ace: Ai-chan, whatever is the matter?

Part 1

Davi: Her heartbeat seems normal.
There doesn't seem to be anything particularly wrong with her.

Mana: Thank goodness.
It seems she's not sick.

Lance: Lance-chance!

Alice: Have some milk.
It seems that you are not hungry I see.

Aguri: Why is it that she is so out of sorts?

Makoto: More importantly, why did Ira and Mammo power up with Malergy when Ai-chan cried?

Mana: Ai-chan seems so miserable like this.
We gotta figure out how to get her back to her usually smiling self.

Mana: Peek-a-boo!

Raquel: Yo! Raquel-roll!

Rikka: Let's play together!
Rattle, rattle!

Makoto: ♪Go to sleep♪
♪Go to sleep♪
♪Against your mother's chest, dear♪{Reference ep 8 for original appearance of this tune. --Kanmuri}

Fairies: Puff-puff, choo-choo...

Cheryl: This is really fun, Ai-chan!

Raquel: Let's play together!

Ryouko: Hello.

Ayumi: Welcome, Ryouko-san

Ryouko: The usual, please... hmm?
Rikka, Mana-chan, girls... what's up?
It's not like you to be moping around like this.

Rikka: We've been taking care of Ai-chan.

Mana: But she's been fussy and crying the whole time, and finally cried herself to sleep.
She's always been cheerful up until now, though.

Rikka: Mama, how do you get a baby to stop crying?

Ryouko: That's a tough one. There really isn't a sure fire way to do that.

Rikka: Oh?

Ayumi: Babies just have times when they're cranky.

Ryoko: That's right.

Makoto: But, you're a pediatrician, right?
Don't you know everything there is to know about babies?

Ryoko: Even if I did know everything, since babies can't talk, they don't have a way of getting your attention other than crying.
Crying is a singnal from a baby.

Aguri: A signal?

Ryoko: Speaking of which, Rikka was quite the crier when she was a baby.

Rikka: Huh?

Ryoko: It was particularly bad at night.
I would walk through the city during the night with sobbing Rikka in my arms until they felt like they were going to fall asleep and my shoulders were aching.
But she still wouln't stop crying.
I felt like a failure as a mom and would start crying along with her.

Rikka: Huh? A failure as a mom?

Mana: Oh, so Rikka was a night crier, huh?

Makoto: Sobbing Rikka?

Alice: Level-headed Rikka-chan having been such a crybaby long ago...

Rikka: B-because I was a baby, I couldn't help it!

Alice: What kind of child was Mana-chan?

Ayumi: Mana was a baby that ate a lot, slept a lot, and laughed a lot.
She was fairly easy to handle.

However, once she learned to walk she became quite the handful.

She would turn over in her sleep and keep going, tumbling to who knows where.

Out walking, she would take off on her own.

She would climb up to the top of the jungle gym and try to jump off of it.

She would bring scores of crickets into the house and set them free.

Mana: Stop! Is there more?

Ayumi: Yeah there is.
Mana didn't cry a lot as a child, but she sure caused me plenty of grief.

Alice: That sounds like Mana.
Her tales of fearlessness have continued since she was a child.
